I call *While You're Up* my Indian name because I hear it often in the evenings. My three daughters are grown, as are my three step-sons, but they continue to fill my life with joys and worries, as do the 7 grandchildren I share with Robert. My blog is an outlet for that little writing bug I occasionally get.

Please don't accidentally strangle your kids' cats or dogs or gerbils! I would hate to have their furry little souls on my conscience!
My entire family laughs uncontrollably every time we think about my mom accidentally hanging Theo from the garage door...that's the key. You have to ALMOST do something horrible yet humorous to the animals. ALMOST. ;)
