Photo Hunter -- Road

When looking through my pictures to find the perfect picture of a road, I came across these two picture I took while aboard the cruise ship, Ecstasy. The first was taken from the bow of the ship, the second from the stern.
From the bow there doesn't seem to be a road -- just endless choices much like we have in life. The captain of the ship decides the course we will sail to reach our destination. In life we must decide what *road* to take to reach our goals.

But from the stern of the ship it is easy to see the course that was sailed, the road the ship followed. A wake is left. In our life if we look back, we too, can clearly see where we have been. The path is marked by our treading on it and other can follow.

The wake is just stunning! What a sharp, clear photo. Yes, yes....we too, as you state, can clearly see where we've been in our own lives.

Wonderful 'road' post.

Have a super weekend Patsy.

Very thought provoking take on this week's theme. It's so easy to see the "road" already traveled. But one's future course has many options. Excellent photos!

Hi Patsy, this is a wonderful post about our path on the road in our lives..the boat wake looks kind of rocky , as it is for us sometimes .. Thanks for sharing your great thoughts with us today... hugs, Baba

Sometimes we just have to trust enough those who are behind the wheel to take us where we have to go to, safely.

Have a great weekend!

It's awesome seeing the different interpretations people have used for this weeks theme. I don't think I've seen a ship's wake before, it's really quite pretty.

Thanks for stopping by:)
