This old tree stands inside the walls of Ross Castle in the National Park of Killarney, Ireland. I love how weathered and gnarled it is. I think it fits the catagory of wrinkled very well.

It is absolutely fitting! Ireland is a place I dream of visiting (and photographing), some day.
Patsy, too funny - I was just about to comment on your pic when I saw yours on mine. I love the tree idea and thought, I could have done that with some old olive tree photos I have. Good idea!
That tree definately has some character. Excellent idea for the theme this week.
Have a great weekend!

Thank you for your comments on my photo (ssphotohunt.blogspot.com). Your tree is absolutely gorgeous -- what character some of those old trees have. Amazing the beauty you find all around you.... or in Ireland! :)
