Photo Hunt: Colorful

Colorful but tattered signal flags flutter in the wind atop the Battleship Texas on an otherwise gray day. I snapped this picture on one of several trips to the historic ship with family and friends when they have come to visit.

Aha!!! Been there! [this is the ship right near the San Jacinto Monument, right?!!]

Excellent photo. Thanks for stopping by for a visit.

Have a super weekend...it's no tax day in Texas...Ugh! shoppers, shoppers everywhere. :o)

There is just something so .... strong about seeing flags. I simply can't describe it - I think it goes beyond patriotism.

Have an excellent weekend!

I keep seeing things I might have used for this theme. I was fascinated with all things maritime when we wereon a cruise last summer. I have simlar signal flag pictures.

very colourful. I like Flags, very nice. Makes me think of a matching game that I had when I was younger, matching the flags of the world.

I don't remember the flags when we were there. I am sure that I just did not pay attention to them. Like the picture though.
